Everything we do is powered by people choosing to get involved. There’s no big team behind the scenes, no huge budgets. Just real people doing what they can to make sure no child goes without.

The best part is, there’s no one way to do it.

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Some of the best fundraisers are the simplest ones. You could organise something at work like a bake sale, dress down day, or a small office challenge. Schools and community groups often run non uniform days, sponsored events, or collections.
 

If you’re more of a “get stuck in” person, sponsored challenges always go down well. Runs, walks, cycling challenges, or even something a bit more out there if that’s your vibe.

Prefer something social? Quiz nights, bingo, raffles, or small local events are a great way to bring people together while raising money at the same time.

And if none of that fits, do your own thing. Some of the best fundraisers we’ve seen have come from completely random ideas that just worked. In fact we absolutely love seeing people thing outside the box and set something quirky up!

If you run a business or work somewhere that likes to get involved, there’s loads you can do.

You could choose Fylde Kids Foundation as your charity of the year, run regular staff fundraising, or sponsor an event. Some businesses match what their staff raise, which can double the impact straight away.

You can also support us through donations, sponsorship, or by helping us with things like being a drop off point, collections, storage, or services.

The fundraisers that do the best are the ones where people understand why you’re doing it.

Tell people what you’re raising money for. Talk about the difference it makes. Whether that’s helping provide beds, supporting families in a crisis, or helping us work towards a community hub for the future, it gives people a reason to get behind you.
