The idea for Fylde Kids Foundation began in 2023 when a few local businesses noticed more and more schools and youth groups reaching out for help. It quickly became clear that many children in our community were going without basic items and everyday essentials. From that point, we joined together and made it our mission to step in and provide the support that young people deserve, helping them thrive and putting smiles back on their faces.

Since registering as a charity, we’ve researched the standard of living on the Fylde Coast to better understand which areas of children’s lives are most affected by hardship. The findings show one thing very clearly: now is the time to act. By intervening early, we can prevent more children from being impacted by financial pressures at home and ensure every child has access to the essentials they need to grow, develop, and build a positive future.

We work closely with local businesses, schools, community groups, and clubs to identify and meet those needs directly. From 2024 onwards, Fylde Kids Foundation aims to be a reliable answer to the challenges families face across our community. Parents, carers, and guardians are also encouraged to reach out, because together we can make sure no child is left behind.
