Ensuring no child on the Fylde Coast goes without

Fylde Kids Foundation is a local children’s charity supporting children and families across the Fylde Coast. Our purpose is simple: to make sure no child goes without the essentials they need to feel safe, included and able to thrive.

We provide practical support where it is needed most, including beds, clothing, school uniforms, essential household items, emergency support and funding for activities that help children take part, develop skills and build confidence.

We work closely with schools, community organisations and professionals, as well as directly with parents and carers, to identify genuine need and respond as quickly as possible. We also help where other services cannot be accessed, filling gaps in support rather than replacing the valuable work already taking place across our community.

Every request is carefully assessed and every donation is given in trust. We take that responsibility seriously and work hard to ensure support reaches the children and families who need it most.
 

Our vision

Our work today focuses on meeting immediate need, but our ambition is to build something that creates lasting change.

Our long term goal is to establish a dedicated community hub for children and families across the Fylde Coast, bringing practical support, learning, play, skills and wellbeing opportunities together in one welcoming space.

We are also working to strengthen our ability to reach families. One of our current priorities is securing a vehicle to collect donations and deliver essential items quickly and reliably, helping us support more children across the Fylde Coast.
