2026 Uniform drive OUTCOME
Our summer uniform drive has been a huge success! We helped around 240 local children get ready for the new school year, with 40 children receiving brand new uniform and around 200 children supported through our seven used uniform banks across the Fylde Coast. We spent an incredible £4,267.36 on brand new school uniform, made possible by the generosity of our supporters, donors, local uniform shops and our amazing volunteers. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this possible.

Now, we’re looking ahead to the colder months with our Winter Wear Drive. We’re collecting good quality, clean coats, hats, scarves, gloves and other winter essentials to help keep local children warm this winter.

We’re also getting ready for Halloween parties and our Christmas support, including our Christmas Toy and Food Help. There will be more information about all of this very, very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

2026 Uniform drive now live

Our School Uniform Drive is now live. Families who need support with the cost of school uniform can now submit an application for assistance. We also have our Used Uniform Bank available, offering good quality pre loved school uniforms free of charge with no application required. Whether you need financial support with new uniform or want to make use of our used uniform bank, we're here to help ensure every child starts the new school year with confidence.

As Fylde Kids Foundation continues to grow and evolve, we wanted to share some important updates regarding our trustee team and the way we deliver support to local children and families.

A Thank You to Tracey

After much consideration, Tracey has made the decision to step away from the charity and is no longer a trustee.

As one of the founders of Fylde Kids Foundation, Tracey has played an incredibly important role in shaping the charity into what it is today. Her passion, commitment and dedication have helped us support countless local children and families over the years, and her contributions simply cannot be understated.

On behalf of everyone at Fylde Kids Foundation, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks and appreciation for everything Tracey has done. She has been an invaluable asset to the organisation, will be greatly missed, and we wish her nothing but happiness and success in whatever comes next.

Welcoming Jane

We are also delighted to welcome Jane as a trustee. We look forward to having Jane as part of the team and working together as we continue to develop and strengthen the charity.

As we continue to grow, we will also be recruiting into a number of key roles within the charity, including Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, helping us build a strong and sustainable future for Fylde Kids Foundation.
